This is a canvas art made with a canvas, wooden letters, glitter and glow in the dark paint that I made for a friends young daughter. The stars that you can see are actually glow in the dark. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Yet another project idea that I got from Pinterest :). This photo is before I painted the stars on. This is how it looks all finished, but still drying. Wanted to take a quick snap though so hung it up in the first place I could take, and took the photo. It's back and drying now :P. I hand painted the canvas with a brush, hand painted the butterflies with a much smaller brush, spray painted the letters (after undercoating them with a brush) in a chrome colour, and used silver glitter glue to add an accent to the letters. I only bought a small amount of glitter glue, and was lucky to be able to cover the little letters, so that's why there isn't any on the big letters, little disappointed about that. I found this really great wallpaper online that I liked so much, I decided I wanted to hang it up in my room, as a poster. Being an impatient person, I wanted to be able to print it out myself so I could hang it straight up. I had seen this effect done before online somewhere, and throught it would be perfect for printing this picture out nice and large. This is the result: View from bedroom door From the foot of the bed As you can see, the bottom of the picture isn't quite complete because my printer ran out of Black ink, so it refused to go on, even though there was plenty of colour ink.. quite annoying. To create it, I made a large Photoshop document, to the exact size for 5x4 A4 sheets of paper, with 1cm gaps in between. Then using masks and exporting each section to a different image and printing, I was able to put them together to look like this.
